French Green Lentils

I love the french green lentils for salads served cold or warm with just about any dish.   They are a staple in our kitchen and we cook extra and freeze some for easy availability.  I typically cook these in a crock pot over low all day long and they are ready to go for dinner and once completely cooled are put in the freezer in 1 or 2 cup portions.

 1 1/2 cups green french lentils (works with any kind of lentils, I just like these best)
1 cup diced onions
3 cloves garlic minced
1/2 cube Rapunzel Vegan Vegetable Bouillon
Water to cover lentils by 3 inches
Slow cooker
